Indah Clothing arrivals are always so anxiously anticipated at r&l. All items take the long trip from where they are made, Bali, and we are giddy little girls by the time they finally arrive in our store. Indah's growing popularity is no suprise to us; every single piece from Indah manages to look elegant, luxurious, and exotic, while being completely comfortable and wearable. Thus their slogan "BEAUTIFUL CLOTHES FOR HAPPY PEOPLE" is totally fitting.

Such fabulous pieces getting loads of attention from magazines and stylists!!

The chevron is such a cool interpretation of the classic spring stripe trend. This halter dress is beyond cute - and extremely flattering for so many body types. 

Also the short sleeve henley stripe is literally the softest thing we have ever felt! So comf we want to wear it every day!

This relaxed v-neck tee is a no-brainer. Obviously Taylor Jacobson from the Rachel Zoe Project agrees with us - she recommended it as her favorite pick for spring - it already sold out on the Michael Stars website!!

kensie frenzy

You know that wardrobe-crisis that occurs in spring and summer evenings? The air starts to cool, and all of a sudden that tank dress or cami has left you chilling to the bone. And of course all your jackets and sweaters are too bulky and completely ruin the ensemble...

Kensie has completely solved that issue for us this year. We've gotten in some FABULOUS light-weight outwear from their Spring/Summer collection and we are SO PLEASED!

Starting with 1). chiffon track jacket - I mean really...the PERFECT jacket for all my dresses. Thank GOD I've found you!! And 2). draped stripe cardigan - literally the most ideal option for casual day-to-night outfits. And lastly 3). the stripe button cardigan - LOVE these colors! Such a great way to spice up a basic tee or tank!!

spring 2011 trend report: maxi dresses

We cannot even TELL YOU how excited we are that the maxi dress is BACK for Spring 2011! This time around, the maxi dress is making it's grand entrance into the season with vibrant colors and bold prints, referencing yet again that 70's vibe we've seen come in style in a may-juh way this spring.

And here are our two new arrivals from Eight Sixty:

The maxi is so easy and feminine, we cannot help make it our Spring staple. (Okay, call us lazy, but throwing on one item of clothing to make an outfit is pretty awesome). Its the best option when you're trying to beat the heat; its so comfy, yet it looks so put together. We love it with a great pair of t-strap flat sandals, a tote bag, and a long necklace for running around during the day (and it looks PERFECT with your favorite sunnies or straw fedora). For night- we love the maxi in combination with a wedge heel, chunky necklace, and lightweight cardi.
