My husband and I were at a birthday dinner last night and were discussing the economy with friends. And we all came to one small but great conclusion-
despite what horrible circumstances that the country is in- we need to be active and do our part.
We live in a great city and tight community, we need to support our local small businesses. There is no need to drive out of Riverside for a gourmet meal, new car, fun entertainment, fabulous fashion- we have it here.
It's not going to change the world- but we can do our part to drive our local economy and help our fellow Riversiders get past this scary time. So...cheers to Riverside!! BTW- we had a amazing tasting dinner last night at Mario's- every course was beyond words- and we drove about 5 minutes to get there.
